Well, I can say a lot of good words about characters, world of this anime etc. But I won`t do it. ^_^
Simply put it`s a story about garbagers. No wars, no epic heroes, no global problems - just life, simple, with it`s own happy and sad moments, when people can find magic in common life. When you just need some "ai" from your friends (love ) to make yourself better, to make our world better than now.
Some people think, that they cannot do anything, that they are just a grain of sand, in а large sand-box, calles Earth. But they are wrong. Even smallest piece of rock may cause an avalanche - not by itself, but it can push another pieces, they push another and... in the end they will be able to move a mountain...
Anyway, it`s what I could find in PlanetES, pehaps you`ll find something different.

PS. And by the way... It`s the first anime, where russian cosmonaut looks like russian.
